#11 Zucchini

Zucchini is another squash that you can grow in containers. This warm weather vegetable needs no less than 5 gallons of soil to grow in and only 1 plant per container.

#12 Cucumbers

Provided with a trellis, cucumber grows well in a pot and other containers. These plants do best in large plastic or ceramic pots that help the soil retain moisture.

#13 Broccoli

Just cauliflower, this cole crop does well in pot. It also wants only plant per container.

#14 Beets

Beet cannot be missed in this collection. You need a pot of 10 to 12 inches of depth to grow them.

#15 Beans

Beans need no less than a pot of 12 inches in depth to grow in. These plant can grow happily in a pot without any extra support, or on trellis.

#16 Arugula

Arugula does extremely well in containers. These plants are so beautiful.  A pot of 8 inches in depth and 6 inches in diameter will work with them.

#17 Eggplant

You can harvest a lot with an eggplant pot (or container). Summer is coming. Growing this plant enables you to eat a great summer vegetable.
