First of all, welcome! I’m so excited to have you visit my corner of the web. This blog is a little piece of me, a place where I share my creative journey as a graphic designer and my path toward embracing independence and doing what I truly love.

How I Got Here: A Journey from Stability to Freedom

If I’m being honest, I never thought I’d be doing this. Growing up, I was always the quiet one, the bookworm with a sketchbook in hand, dreaming of a world filled with color and design. But as I got older, I followed the safe path. Like so many people, I took the route that promised job security, a steady paycheck, and a comfortable life.

I landed a decent job as a graphic designer at a corporate agency, and while it was a good job on paper, it wasn’t fulfilling. Sure, I got paid well, but I was doing work that didn’t light me up. I wasn’t creating; I was just checking off tasks.

But here’s the thing: I’ve always been passionate about design. From a young age, I spent hours doodling and experimenting with colors, shapes, and styles. That love never went away; it just got buried under a mountain of responsibilities and the pressure to live up to other people’s expectations.

One day, I realized that I was losing myself. That’s when I made the decision to leave my stable job behind and go after what I really wanted. I started my journey as a freelance designer, and while it’s been challenging and full of uncertainties, it’s also been the most rewarding experience of my life.

Why I Started This Blog

This blog was born from a desire to share my story with others who might be facing the same struggles and uncertainties I’ve faced. I’m not here to tell you that following your passion is easy; it’s not. But I want to show you that it’s possible. This blog is a mix of my design projects, personal stories, and lessons I’ve learned along the way. It’s my way of creating a space for others to feel inspired, supported, and empowered to follow their own creative dreams.

I truly believe that creativity isn’t just a job, it’s a way of living. Whether it’s through design, art, or simply finding beauty in everyday life, creativity can change the way you see the world. And it’s something I want to share with you.

A bit about where I come from: I grew up in a small town, surrounded by nature and lots of open space. My childhood was full of quiet afternoons spent drawing by the window, watching the world go by. I think that’s where my love for design began. My surroundings shaped the way I saw things, and I became obsessed with capturing the beauty of the world around me.

On this blog, I share everything from design tips and tricks to my personal experiences of starting my own business. I talk about the highs and lows, the triumphs and failures, and everything in between. You’ll find a mix of creative inspiration, DIY design projects, and honest conversations about pursuing your passions in a world that often tells you to play it safe.
