You can take a basic hat and change a few things to make it look completely different. It looks great in one color or work it in multiple colors for a fun look. #12 Over the Ridge Crochet Hat with Brim

This adorable crochet hat has a nice and warm brim which is perfect for the cold winter months! The striping pattern is made using self-striping cake yarn which means there are very few ends to weave in. The amazing spiral texture is made by working the crunch stitch in continuous rounds. Skills to know include half double crochet in the 3rd loop, single crochets, working continuous rounds and slip stitching. The hat is sized medium adult, but can easily be adjusted!

This Wheel Hat was made with the Catherine’s Wheel Stitch and a photo and video tutorial is provided. The hat is super soft as it uses velvet yarn. It will keep you warm, but not too warm. As the wheel stitch has some small open areas, your head still get some air through the velvet yarn. It’s the perfect combination of warmth, style and comfort. In addition, the faux fur pom pom will provide the perfect addition to make the hat complete.
